A public memorial will be held for studio executive Steve Mensch on Dec. 28 at the Tara Theatre.
Mensch, who was the president and general manager of studio operations at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, died on Dec. 6 in a single-seater plane crash in Homosassa, FL. Mensch was an active member of Georgia’s film industry and community.
The memorial will be held at the Tara Theatre at noon on Dec. 28, according to a press release. In lieu of flowers, Mensch’s family has asked that people donate to the Steve Mensch Family Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, which will support causes that Mensch also supported.
